This is a US top 20 pizza place for a reason!! Best pizza I've ever had in the US. This is very similar to the Tokyo style pizza we had in Tokyo. Great spot, quick service, and outstanding food.

I was so excited to finally get the chance to try Pizzeria Sei this last weekend! It's a very laid back ambiance with counter seating and a few scattered tables around the restaurant. The place itself is small and fills up very fast. As far as pizza goes - my husband and I ordered the Funghi, Margherita special, and the Patate pizzas to share between the two of us. It was plenty of pizza and we ended up taking a few slices home too. The Patate was the most unique! I highly recommend if you enjoy a non traditional white sauce base. The assorted crema and cheeses were amazing all together! If this pizza is on the menu the day you're there, I highly recommend trying it. The Margherita was great as well! I think it's important to judge a pizza place by its classic Margherita and Pizzeria Sei sure delivered! The house red sauce is really unique and has a bit of sweetness with the savory that makes it stand out. Next time I'd personally pass on the funghi. It was good, but felt very standard as far as flavor profile goes. Now onto reviewing the crust. Pizzeria Sei surpasses the other local pizzerias because of the Tokyo style mochi crust. It has a nice crispy crunch to it but also has a great chew. The crust never got soggy while eating and it held up nicely. This took the pizza to a whole different level. Sadly, the reason I gave Pizzeria Sei four stars was because of the service. From the moment we sat down, we were very rudely spoken to by the waiter. He had a lot of attitude and was very dismissive towards us. It felt very off putting from the get-go and unfortunately left a bad memory of the place. Overall, I would recommend this place for the outstanding and unique pizzas, but I wouldn't come back to this location because of the service. Might try Culver City when it opens!

This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be ordering again. I ordered a Patate Pizza to go, and it was ready 10 minutes earlier than they said it would be. Unfortunately, I don't think they keep to go orders heated when they are ready for pick-up but it was not fully cold. This was really really good. A lot of flavor and the potatoes didn't make the pizza feel so starchy. The garlic and cheeses were really what added the flavor. This wasn't available as an option when ordering online, I called it in. When I went to pick it up the restaurant seating looked very limited and tables were pretty small so I don't know if I would ever dine in.

Best pizza I've tried in LA! The flavor options were great and we ended up getting the lamb one and the one with potatoes. The potato one was extremely rich, so I might not order that if you don't want something heavy. The lamb one was so flavorful and would definitely recommend. It's pretty small inside, so if you can get a reservation I'd try so you don't have to wait too long.

Had a reservation at Pizzeria Sei after craving Tokyo-style pizza, and the food definitely delivered. Parking isn't bad, but give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes. There's metered street parking in the area and a small paid lot across the street on Pico. The space has a chill, minimal vibe--not loud or chaotic. That said, service and cleanliness could've been better. Water was served in plastic cups, which felt cheap. They dropped dishes a few times while bussing--not a huge deal, but distracting in a slower-paced restaurant. One of our forks had dried food on it. Our main server was great, but another guy working that night came off cold and made things a bit awkward. Nothing major, but noticeable. The food made up for it. We got the Margherita special and the Potate--both were incredible. The crust was honestly perfect: light, airy, crunchy, and chewy. The crust of your dreams. The undercarriage was slightly thicker than I expected, but it made sense and worked well to hold the heavier toppings. Alternating bites between the fresh tomato and rich white pizza was ideal. The tri-color salad was super lemony and refreshing. And do not pass on the tiramisuuuuuuu. So freakin good! not too sweet, great espresso flavor, just do it. Overall: food is top tier, tiramisu is a must, and this spot could easily be five stars with tighter service and a little more attention to detail. Definitely worth checking out.

It looks like this place is overwhelmed with success, which is not a bad thing. We waited over an hour for a takeout pie, but the manager acknowledged it and gave us a free dessert to compensate. I wish them continued success. BB

I've been wanting to come here because I've been wanting to try this type of pizza- I kept hearing about this Japanese take on Neapolitan pizza. The first thing I would say is get a reservation. The largest table they have is for 4 people, and there are maybe 3 of them, along with a few tables for 2. They also have seating at the bar. As soon as you sit you're offered pickled vegetables for the table, and the menu is pretty standard. We tried 3 pizzas and had some other dishes like the Caesar salad. Everything was delicious; the food is pretty rich given the amount of quality ingredients they use. The one that stood out to me most was the margarita- so simple and yet so good. I want to go back because I can't really describe the crust- it's nicely charred on the edge like a wood-fired pizza should be, and it's a bit dense with a good chew. I'm not sure if there's a lot in the back, but there's street parking all around. The service is super friendly and helpful, and I'll definitely try it again!

There's so much hype about this pizza joint and the first bite of the pizza made me see why. The dough is light and airy but also incredibly chewy at the same time. I ordered the Bismarck pizza which was entirely covered with layers of prosciutto cotto and finished with a runny yolk in the center. I'm not the biggest fan of sharp cheese so that part wasn't my favorite but everything else about it was perfect. It was also light enough that I didn't feel stuffed after. I also had a slice of the Ruti's pizza, a current special with ricotta and soppressata drizzled with hot honey and sprinkled with arugula. Again, the crust was amazing and the pizza itself was good but not a standout dish. We made a reservation in advance to guarantee a table because we knew the dining area was fairly small so I'd recommend doing the same. The food came out fairly quickly after ordering and the service was good. Parking is street only but there were plenty of spaces on a Monday night.

I'm not sure if I can add anything more to what is seemingly everyone's local favorite but.....Seriously exceeded all my expectations and hype!!! Yes...No parking or limited!! Yes small space so limited availability!! Yes super thin soft dough and can be a little moist.....But all can be accommodated by eating asap!!! lol!! Called in to place to go order with no reservations and selected specific pick up time!! Pizzas were ready as I walked in exactly at time offered!! We chose to eat a few slices immediately at our parked car and once we got home warmed up and devoured the other three pizzas...Four in total!! Just absolutely ridiculous how yummy the soft light fought with crispy edges and amazing toppings!!! Trying is believing and now understandable why 33rd in the world and 8th in the US!!! Highly recommended y'all!!!

The food was out of this world. It was so amazing and definitely deserved its Michelin star. I would come back every night if it weren't for the long line. The service is excellent and the restraint has a very nice vibe it is small but nice.
